'snatches of old lauds': Corporate Personhood and bill "polonius-ass" murray

[via hammy-2k{via authorship and artifice as pleasant, comforting subjects for authoring and art-crafting}(ps fuck that adaptation, i just couldnt pass up Bill)]

actually kate winslet is a better example because she's actually a good enough actress to convey the central thrust of ophelia--the chivalric ideal of the knight[protagonist]'s Lady, she who can give his life Meaning, destroyed by the Author[hamlet the student/knight-turned-revenger is shakespeare the artificer, his hand forced by the public's demand for a revenge story{for the Author so loved his protagonist...}]

[jean simmons via ; a bwidge of sorts/the setup for a callback]

["Cutest fisherman ever?" the second half of the bridge: 'goulden age' celebrities as strongly personal-branded 'agents of culture'/CHECK-THEM-GAMS]

So here is the initial condition: the payoff, the legacy, the Future[i want the Era beginning 2010 to be called the Future(contrasted w/Modern Era)] of America's century[the 20th] is thus: corporate personhood goes both directions [this is LITERALLY proven by the simultaneous development of 'greenwashing/organicsustatinable bull shit' {via the corporate Person wanting to be bros with the savvyconsumer} and 'personal branding' {via face/look/twit-book, "self-actualization by universal acceptance/reinforcement (via internet)"}

THREE VITAL TERMS
[that i want to present cogent written definitions for, as they describe the processes of the Future human]

self-actualization: the exercise of one's agency upon onesself, the solving/fixing/shoring-up of one's internality, a general "being-ok with one'self as one is"; necessary to step far enough outside consumer-existence to compete with high-powered brand management staff[corporate Persons] on their own terms as agents of culture--something of a baseline requirement if you really want to try to live Here and Now(but that's ok bc the internet can do this one for you{heidi 'soviet'montage does it w/surgery but thats ok bc FUTURE} )

functionality: the exercise of one's agency upon one's immediate surroundings/situation, "i know who i am/what my brand is. what do i want, what do i want to be doing?"<--the degree to which one can achieve what one wants in the external world

aptitude: one's propensity/inclination towards one's activities/'job', derived from the testing impulse[via Standard Aptitude Test, "what colouer is yr parachute ? "/"learning styles"], requires enough self-understanding to apply one's particular abilities/'skill-set' with maximum efficiency/return on investment[of time,effort, whateva]

A COUPLE EXAMPLES/ELABORATIONS:

"Could I be happy with something else
I need something to fill my time"--gang of four, forevr[via internet as year zero/'clockstoppers Nickelodeon Original Film starring the internet as clockstopper']
^an expression of the drive/desire to determine one's aptest activities through one's functional means

"Her clothes spread wide,/ And mermaidlike awhile they bore her up,/ Which time she chanted snatches of old lauds,/ As one incapable of her own distress,/ Or like a creature native and indued/ Unto that element."--gertrude, on ophelia, 16xx
^absolute, perfect aptitude as the Lady wholly destroyed by the plot such that the rediscovery of that perfect aptitude comes only in the moment--and by the means--of self-destruction ['the Punk impulse' {via 'please kill me' as a booktitle about punk/self-identification with the dominant social order subverted}]
